ICoE-Taipei (International Centre of Excellence in Taipei) was the first established academic center associated with the IRDR (Integrated Research on Disaster Risk) program. The center serves as an international platform for Disaster Risk Reduction prevention, preparedness, and resilience research.

During this April, Air Pollution and Health Impacts in South-East Asia confrence was hosted by IRDR IcOE.
IRDR ICoE-Taipei host an online conference in February 2022, invite people to join with Dr. John Handmer on the DRR Framework! Dr. John Handmer was the former Chair of the IRDR Science Committee and he lead the preparation for the new research DRR agenda.
